Nmaku Onyewu is a Nationally Board Certified Massage Therapist. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from the College of Health and Human Performance at the University of Maryland College Park and received her post-graduate training as a Certified Massage Therapist from Potomac Massage Training Institute in Washington, DC. She was interviewed and featured in ESSENCE MAGAZINE in November 2006 in an article titled “5 Instant De-Stressors”.
She is trained in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, Reflexology, Seated Chair Massage, Aromatherapy, Maternity, Stretching Exercises and Sports Massage. She has developed a new therapeutic massage treatment called Heat Pack Signature Massage, which incorporates heat with deep tissue massage and stretching exercises.
